Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a firing work and also to prevent an occurence of explosion due to ignition lag by providing an ignition means to fire gas automatically as it is fed into a nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A traveler 7 is inserted movably axially in a traveler room 6 of a gas passage 5, and a piezoelectric element 9 is provided at a position where it comes in contact directly or indirectly with the traveler 7 when the traveler 7 is moved to a nozzle 2 side. When gas flows on the gas passage 5, the traveler 7 collides with the piezoelectric element 9, a high voltage is generated on the piezoelectric element 9, and thus a discharge arises between a discharging projection 21 formed on the tip of the nozzle 2 and an oxygen injection nozzle 29, therefore a mixed gas is fired automatically. A firing work is simplified accordingly, and an occurrence of explosion due to ignition lag can be prevented at the same time.
