CONSTITUTION:When the signal of the data processor 4 is to be traced to the data processor 3, the input pin 42 of the data processor 4 is connected to the target signal pin by using jumpers. Thus, the inputted trace signal is input to the input line 24 of the interface cable 20 via the driver 41. The signal is transmitted to the trace signal transmission/reception circuit 30 and to the measuring instrument connected through the output pin 33. Thus, the data processor 3 can obtain the trace information of the opposing device 4 required for the retrieval of failure, and the retrieval of failure can be easily executed.
