Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate noise and perform accurate measurement by operating the current value obtained by measuring the electric resistance of molten cast iron under progression of solidifying at every fixed time by a sample holding method, in a method of measuring said electric resistance and evaluating graphite spheroidization rate. CONSTITUTION:The AC current obtained from the primary side of transformer type cast iron electric resistance measuring device for using the molten cast iron cast in an annular mold as the secondary side coil is converted by a current-voltage conversion circuit and is rectified to a DC signal by a rectifying circuit. Then, the above-mentioned signal is held alternately in two sample holding circuits at every fixed time by changing over at every time by using a clock circuit and the difference between the signal of that time and the signal of the previous time is calculated in an arithmetic circuit. The resultant average change rate per time is displayed in a recorder via an amplifier. On the other hand, it is compared with reference voltage, and in the case of abnormality, it is alarmed (lamp lighting and buzzer announcing).
