Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain strong light output of a given wave length without incurring any explosion of a lamp during its burning, by using a spherical lamp, and charging the lamp with a given amount of a given starting rare gas. CONSTITUTION:A lamp 6 has a spherical shape and configuration. The lamp 6 is charged with 7X10<-6>-60X10<-6> gram atoms, over 1X10<-7> gram atoms, 1.5X10<-7>- 50X10<-7> gram atoms per 1cc internal volume of the lamp 6 of mercury, gallium, a halogen and a starting rare gas, respectively.
