Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In the process of forming printed wiring board 1 by sticking copper foil to the surface of an insulating board obtained by hardening resin with which a glass fabric base material is impregnated and then by photoetching the copper foil in a wiring pattern, master pattern 3 of wiring is printed on the glass fabric base material previously and after the completion of the printed wiring board, wiring pattern 2 on the surface is compared to master pattern 3 on the glass fabric base material for an external appearance check. Since the printed wiring board has the glass fabric base material and resin which is both light-transmissive, master pattern 3 of wiring printed on the glass fabric base material can easily be recognized through the surface.
