Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform power feeding to machine tools and the like without contacts by embedding a primary winding which supplies an AC current in slots, moving a movable core wherein the secondary winding is provided along the primary winding, and transferring the power conducted in the primary winding to the secondary winding. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding which is connected to an AC power source E is provided along a moving path of the machine tools. The movable core 3 on the secondary side is fixed to the machine tool. The movable core 2 on the primary side is fixed to the core 3 by attraction or other appropriate means so as to form one body. Said primary winding 1 is embeded slidingly in slits 2a of the core 2, and the secondary wire 4 is embeded in slits 3a of the core 3. Then the core 2 is moved along the primary winding 1, the current from the power source E is transferred to the secondary winding 4, being supplied to the machine tools via the secondary winding 4, and the power feeding to the number of machine tools can be readily made without contact.
