Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the transfer of the hull part after cutting and improve the efficiency of remodelling work by supporting the hull part to be transferred after cutting, on a movable base board, when the hull is remodelled.
CONSTITUTION: A hull 11 to be remodelled is placed on a dock base 14 through a base board 12 and a movable base board 13 and cut along a prescribed cut wire 15. After cutting, a main hull part 11a is supported at an untouched position, and the hull part 11b is shifted through the movable base board 13. Shift is performed by a hull part shifting apparatus 16 constituted of a driving mechanism consisting of pulleies, wires, and winches, and the hull part is shifted, guided by a guide apparatus 2. After shift, a newly constructed hull part 17 is inserted between both separated hull parts 11a and 11b, and the hull part 11b is again shifted reversely and connected tentatively with the newly constructed hull body 17, and welded after position adjustment, then the remodelling work of the hull is completed.
