Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness and the size of an entire step motor and to enhance the reliability of the motor by containing an oscillator block in which a crystal oscillator is sealed in the hollow section of a stator coil frame and confronting a rotor with the teeth of a magnetic pole formed on one surface of the coil frame. CONSTITUTION:A crystal oscillator, a capacitor, a frequency divider, an inverter and so forth are sealed in a cylindrical oscillator block 1, and the block 1 is contained in the hollow section of the coil frame 4 of a ring-shaped stator coil 5. The teeth 9 of the magnetic pole are mounted on one surface of the coil frame 4, magnetically coupled with a yoke 6, and a disk-shaped rotor 12 is journaled on a shaft 7 projected from the center of the teeth 9. Thus, the entire step motor can be reduced in thickness and in size, the oscillator can be shielded to eliminate the step-out and to enhance the reliability of the motor.
