PURPOSE:To inexpensively and readily assemble and manufacture a step motor by sequentially inserting an oscillator block sealing a crystal oscillator and the like, inside thereof, a coil frame and magnetic pole teeth into a cylindrical yoke opened at one face and formed with a hole for inserting terminals at a bottom and caulking the opening edge fixedly. CONSTITUTION:A crystal oscillator, a capacitor, a frequency divider and so forth are sealed in a case to form an oscillator block 1 from which terminals 2 and 3 are projected from the bottom. Then, an iron core 6 is inserted into a coil frame 4 on which a coil 5 is wound, a stator piece 8 is mounted at the end to urge it to the end face of the block 1, and a coil frame unit A is thus formed. The frame unit A is inserted into a cylindrical stator yoke 9 opened at one face and having a hole for inserting the terminals at the bottom, and the stator piece 8 is urged to the inner face of the yoke. Further, the central hole 10c is matched to mount the magnetic pole tooth plate 10 at the end of the iron core 6, the opening edge of the yoke is calked fixedly and made to face with a disc-shaped rotor 12.
