PURPOSE:To avoid the interference of a generator coil with a motor coil and to reduce the size of the entire motor generator by bending the end of one of the generator and the motor coils of a stator having both the generator and the motor coils at two stages of angles varying abruptly at the rising end of the linear part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The linear part S5 of the end of a generator coil 14 is abruptly risen at an angle theta2 at a stator in which the coil 14 and a motor coil 13 are alternatively associated in slots. Further, the bent part L2' of the end of the coil is bent at an angle theta3 to thus bend the end of the coil at two stages. Since the interference of the coil 14 with the coil 13 can be thus preferably avoided, the length of the end of the coil 13 can be shortened, and the inner diameter of the outer frame can be reduced. Further, the size of the entire motor generator can also be decreased.
