Abstract

PURPOSE:To sharply reduce the part of assembling processes by manual work by a method wherein the front and back electrodes of a divided solar cell are connected sequentially in fixed directions by wirings on an upper connection frame and on a lower substrate. CONSTITUTION:The back-surface electrode 18 of the divided solar cell 8 is connected a part 15 of the wiring 5 of the lower print substrate 4 through the intermediary of solder 7. The wiring 5 is led out on to the front side just in front of the adjacent cell 8 and turns to be a part 13, which is joined to the print connection 2 of the upper print connection frame 1 at a part 11 through the intermediary of the solder 7. A part 12 of the connection 2 is connected to the peripheral part 16 of the upper collector electrode of the adjacent cell 8 through the intermediary of the solder. Thus, the electrodes 18 of the cell 8 are connected sequentially to the front-surface electrode of the adjacent cell 8 respectively. Each of the divided solar cells are connected in series and a cathode and an anode at both ends thereof can be taken out as a cathode terminal and an anode terminal respectively without being connected. Since the part of the processes by manual work is reduced remarkably by this constitution, the cost for manufacture can be reduced sharply.
