Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the heat transfer rate between both a heat transfer plate and a substantially circular heat transfer tube by integrally forming both the plate and the tube by a strong facial pressure. CONSTITUTION:The present heat exchange unit is constituted by a heat transfer plate 1 and a substantially circular heat transfer tube 2. The heat transfer plate 1 comprises a flat part 11, a substantially circular tubular projection 12 projecting to one side of the plate surface and formed integrally with said flat part 11, and a groove 13 communicated with the interior of the projection 12 and opened to the other side of the plate surface. The groove 13 is positioned between a pair of edge parts 14 opposing each other, and the edge parts 14 are communicated with the flat part 11 and the tubular projection 12. The heat transfer tube 2 only the lower half of which is of a circular shape is accommodated in the tubular projection, and this heat transfer tube 2 tightly adheres rigidly to the inner peripheral wall of the tubular projection 12 by press processing and clamped thereby. As a result, the heat transfer rate between the heat transfer plate and the heat transfer tube 2 becomes excellent.
