Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to conduct 3-step switching of 'Bright', 'Dim' and 'OFF', by conducting switching of a change-over element, which decides operating point of a phase controlling semiconductor element by utilizing commutation voltage, and holding of the motion at the time when a bidirectional 3-terminal thyrister is turned off. CONSTITUTION:When a full turn-on switch 31 is turned on, a full turn-on PUT16 is turned on at once, a trigger capacitor 2 is charged through this, a trigger PUT11 is turned on, and a bidirectional 3-terminal thyrister 4 is turned on, and then, an incandescent lamp 3 becomes in a state of 'Full light'. And, when a light-reducing switch 32 is turned on, a light-reducing PUT21 is turned on to put off the PUT16, and the capacitor 12 is charged by a time constant of a resistor 24, and therefore, while the PUT11 and the thysister 4 are conducted, the light is reduced. And, when a turn-off switch 33 is turned on, the PUT16 and PUT21 are turned off, and therefore, the PUT11 and the thyrister 4 become off, and the incandescent lamp 3 is turned off.
