Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a highly precise commutator with a small outside diameter at low cast by annularly and closely arranging a plurality of conductors providing insulating layers around a shaft wherein cutting is then performed from external circumference sections to expose the conductive sections. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of conductors 3 providing insulating layers 2 are closely adhered around a shaft 1 along the longitudinal direction. At that time, a metal having high conductivity and wear and abrasion resistance such as a silver palladium alloy is used as the conductive substance of the conductors 3 and the material having wear and abrasion resistance such as polyamid resin is used as the insulating layers 2. And a cutting process is applied to the bundles of the conductors 3 from external circumference and the conductors 3 are formed as commutator segments by exposing the conductive sections 4. In this way, a miniature commutator will be made with high precision and a coreless motor with high efficiency or the like will be manufactured in small size.
