PURPOSE:To effectively clean the toner stuck on a transfer roller by using a fur brush roller for cleaning made by providing a unidirectional fur brush spirally on the outside circumference of a core body, etc. CONSTITUTION:The toner image of a photosensitive drum 3 is transferred with good efficiency on a transer material 8 by a fur brush roller 18 for transfer made by conductively flocking the outside circumference of a conductive and soft core body. A fur brush roller 19 for cleaning which contacts this roller 18 is formed with a unidirectional brush body 39 in the direction reverse from the rotating direction spirally wound on the outside circumference of a core body 38 formed of a revolving shaft 36 and a cylindrical elastic body 37, thereby removing and holding the excess toner stuck on the roller 18 without scattering. This toner is removed by a silicone roller 20 for scraping contacting the roller 19 and a blade 22 for scraping abutting on this, whereby the transfer roller is effectively cleaned.
