Abstract

PURPOSE: To make intervals of servo tracks constant by correcting the position of a servo track head by setting position information in information to be written by a clock track head and then by reading it.
CONSTITUTION: After servo track head 3 writes the 1st clock signal over the single rotation of servo disk 1, this signal is read to generate 12 the 2nd clock signal including the 1st position information and the signal is written on disk 1 by clock track head 8.
