PURPOSE:To improve filtration function by providing an ultrasonic oscillation means at part of a process channel for sample water to a filter including a filtration tank. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic oscillator 10 for the flocculation of insoluble solids, its oscillation unit 11, an ultrasonic vibrator 12 for washing insoluble solids attaching to a filtration tank 2 and its oscillation unit 13 are provided on the filtration tank 2. Oscillators 10, 12 such as to flocculate particles with high-frequency ultrasonic wave and liberate particles with low-frequency ultrasonic wave and liberate particles with low-frequency ultrasonic wave, are provided on the filtration tank 2. Therefore, even if the concentration of insoluble solids were high, the plugging of a filter 3 for the flocculation of particles does not occur. Even if the mesh diameter of the filter 3 were large, the same filtration function can be obtained by flocculating particles of small diameter, thus shortening a filtration time.
