Servo information regions 18 and 19 and region 20 are equal in track interval and region 20 shifts from regions 18 and 19 by a half track width. As the track at address (x) in a fixed disk pack is selected and then that at address (y) in an interchangeable disk pack is selected, a one-track extra movement is detected from information in region 20 and a one-track return is made.
