Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a working unit which has a simple constitution, is not bulky and has a relatively wide variety of mounting positions by a method wherein the reciprocating part of the working unit is driven by drawing two Bowden wires drawn in opposite directions to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Connected to the operating part reciprocating in the working unit are the first and second Bowden wires 42 and 42A to draw said operating part in both forward and reverse directions. The other ends of both the wires are connected to both ends of an arm 93 supported by a shaft 97 in a traction mechanism 13 in the unit. Because the arm 93 is rocked by means of a pin 105 contacting with a rotating cam 113, the Bowden wires 42 and 42a are alternately drawn, causing the operating in the working unit to reciprocate. Regulating the repulsion forces of loosening preventing springs 91 and 92 permits the moving timing of the operating part to be regulated.
