PURPOSE:To improve the safety and operability of a spectral irradiation apparatus by supplying power through electromagnetic induction. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of groups of cores 13 around which coils are wound, are arranged spacing fixedly on a sample box holder 12, and connected with a control unit 15 through a power source and selector 14. Power is supplied for only fixed cores by electromagnetic induction on the instructions of the control unit 15. Thus, when incident rays 21 into a sample box 16 are applied to a sample 28 in a sample container 27 through a shutter 22, entrance slit 23, higher-order light cut-off filter 24, lens 25, and plane mirror 26, power can be supplied on the instructions of the control unit 15 as long as the sample box 16 is in the spectral focal surface, so that the initial purposes can be attained.
