Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A vinylalkyldichlorosilane shown by the formula CH2=CHSiRCl2 (R is ≥3C alkyl).
EXAMPLE: n-Hexylvinyldichlorosilane.
USE: A crosslinking agent for silicone rubber and an improver for polymerization degree. Suitable for improving hydrolyzing properties, and compatibility with other resins, and for preventing cissing when a coating compond is applied to it.
PROCESS: Acetylene is reacted with a compound shown by the formula RHSiCl2 in the presence of a complex catalyst consisting of Pt(PRh3)4, PdCl2(PPh3)2, Pd (PPh3)4 or RuCl2(PPh3)4 in a solvent, to give a compound shown by the formula CH2=CHSiRCl2.
