Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the speaker which is small and light and has broad frequency band and excellent in the conversion efficiency, by forming the constructing body of plate shape having a number of through holes with light alloy or the like and sticking the piezoelectric oscillator on one side or the both. CONSTITUTION:The honey-comb 1 having a number of through-holes (the shape of holes can be hexagon, triangle or square) orthogonal to the plate surface with the light material like light alloy, is formed. The piezoelectric oscillator 3 made of piezoelectric material like barium titanate having the electrode 4 is sticked on one surface of the honey-comb 1 with adhesives 2 to form the piezoelectric type diaphragm plate. The output of the piezoelectric oscillator 3 can be increased by sticking it on the both sides of the honey-comb 1 or by two-layer sticking on one side or the both. Thus, by combining the honey-comb and piezoelectric oscillator, small and light diaphragm plate which has flat frequency characteristics over broad band and high conversion efficiency can be obtained.
