Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a simple, versatile and expansile inspection device by outputting the equivalent signal of each sensor, by selecting a control signal from a controller which responds to the output signal, and by measuring a voltage waveform by assigning a position to be measured. CONSTITUTION:Microcomputer MPU6 sends out signal 100 equivalent to a sensor output which informs electronic engine controller ENG of the state of an engine. In response to signal 100, ENG outputs a control signal to one of data line 200. Under the control of multiplexer MX5, analog switch SW1 selects one of lines 200 and send the control signal to voltage detector 2 and mode control part CT4. Under the control of CT4, detector 2 detects the peak value of the input control signal and, after A/D conversion 3, sends the result to MPU6. On receiving it, MPU6 decides whether the control signal is normal or not to control CT4 and MX5, and CT4 gives detector 2 an indication of which point of the voltage waveform of the control signal from SW1 is to be measured.
