Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a measurement precision of a quantity of flow and to facilitate manufacturing, by a method wherein a device, in which the first temperature dependence resistance and a resistance wire for electric heater are wound around an electric insulation supporter, and a device, in which the second temperature dependence resistance is wound around the same supporter, are mounted. CONSTITUTION:A resistance wire 10 for electric heater, made of platinum, and the first temperature dependence resistance wire 11 are alternately wound at close spaces around a supporter 101, such as ceramic having a cruciform section. The second temperature dependence resistance wire 12 is wound around a supporter 102 in a manner described above. Parts of the resistances 10-12 are secured with adhesives on the supporters 101 and 102, and are connected to a measurement circuit through copper foils 103-105'. The two supporters 101 and 102 are positioned in parallel to a flow (arrow mark B) of air or other fluids, and the second supporter 102 is positioned at the upstream of the first supporter 101. A bridge circuit consists of the resistances 11 and 12 and two references, and is connected to a measurement circuit consisting of a differential amplifier. This permits the improvement of a measurement precision and enables facilitation of manufacturing.
