Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect a clamping bolt from creep deformation and damage due to thermal stress, by reducing a restraining force which acts to the clamping bolt which clamps the two-split portions of a nozzle box used in the speed governing stage of a steam turbine or the like.
CONSTITUTION: An upper and a lower two-split nozzle box bodys 4, 5 are provided between a rotor 1 and an upper and a lower two-split casing 2, 3. A flat interposed member 9 and a lower horizontal mounting section 5a are secured on the carrying part 8 of an upper horizontal mounting section 4a by a clamping bolt 10 so that a gap 11. As a result, even if the mounting sections 4a, 5a and member 9 are lifted up by the high pressure and temperature steam of a steam turbine and come into contact with the bottom of the upper casing 2, the clamping bolt 10 is not crushed. The clamping bolt 10 is thus protected from creep deformation and damage.
