Abstract
PURPOSE:To automate separation of a truck from its carrier by providing a rotary solenoid in the traction device of an unmanned carrier which is to run along a guide rail and performs coupling and uncoupling of the coupler for the carrier and truck by means of rotation of said solenoid. CONSTITUTION:Electric supply to a rotary solenoid 10 will rotate a rotary disc 12, which turns in such a direction that a traction hook 3 uncouples the coupler 5 with the aid of contact of an upright pin 13 with a periphery pin 20 of a rotary disc 19 and rotation of a rotary shaft 14. Deenergizing of the solenoid 10 will, on the other hand, let the traction hook 3 turn downward by its own weight with the rotary shaft 14 as falcrum to be engaged with the coupler 5 of truck 4. Thus, the carrier and truck can be easily and automatically coupled or uncoupled only by turning on or off the rotary solenoid.
