Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the electric power efficiency of the whole reproduction system by constituting the voice coil of the dynamic speaker by using N pieces of coils which correspond to respective bits, and by controlling weightened current sources connected to respective coils via switches, and by directly performing D/A conversion by a dynamic speaker. CONSTITUTION:The voice coil of a dynamic type speaker is composed on N pieces of coils 1-3 which correspond to respective digits and to those coils 1-3, transfer type switches S11-S31, and S12-S32 are connected in parallel. To fixed contacts of those switches S11-S31 and S12-S32, current sources I1-I3 and -I1--I3 weightening coils 1-3 are connected, and to the speaker field part, short coil S which erases self-inductances and mutual inductances of coils 1-3 is provided. According to the binary codes of a digital signal, current sources I1-I3 or -I1--I3 are short-circuited with one-sided contacts of switches S11-S31, S12, and S32 and coils 1-3 are weightened with the other-sided contacts, so that the electric power efficiency may be improved.
