Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the quality of transmission by making high-precision adjustment, by obtaining a completion confirming signal by sending a completion signal by obtaining a balanced circuit which minimizes a turn-around signal, by supplying a test signal from a pattern generator to a hybrid transformer. CONSTITUTION:As reset switch 25a is operated, three-contact switch 15a is not connected to any contact and the output of four-wire transmitter-receiver 11a is disconnected from two-wire line 28. A test signal from pattern generating circuit 19a is supplied to hydbrid transformer 16a via switch 15a to obtain a balanced circuit which minimizes a turn-around signal. Then, a sine wave signal of frequency f1 is sent to line 28 as a completion signal. At a party station, on the other hand, this signal f1 is level-detected 24b via hybrid transformer 16b and a sine wave signal of frequency f2 is sent as a completion confirming signal to line 28. Then, the completion confirmation signal is level-detected 24a. Thus, high-precision adjustments are made to improve the quality of the transmission.
