Abstract

PURPOSE:To sufficiently polarize a high molecular and inorganic composite piezoelectric unit with low polarizing electric field by employing as high molecular material high molecular material having ferrodielectric and dielectric phase transfer or high molecular material having them as main ingredients and polarizing it at the temperature in the vicinity of phase transfer point. CONSTITUTION:High molecular and inorganic composite piezoelectric unit is formed of high molecular material and finely pulverized ferrodielectric ceramic powder. The high molecular material includes, for example, high molecular material having ferrodielectric and dielectric phase transfer or high molecular material having them as main ingredients, and is polarized at the temperature in the vicinity of the phase transfer point. The high molecular material having the ferrodielectric and dielectric phase transfer includes, for example, vinylidene fluoride-ethylene trifluoride copolymer.
