Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent slagging phenomenon from occuring and fluidize coarse solid particles continuously and stably by providing a draft tube in the central part of a jet layer fluidizing apparatus, in such a manner as to encircle the jet layer. CONSTITUTION:A jet layer fluidizing apparatus is formed by providing a collision plate for prevention of particle scattering in the upper part of a cylindrical body 1 having a gas inlet 2 and a gas outlet 3, and mounting a draft tube 7, concentrically to a jet portion 5, in the portion from right above the inlet nozzle of the gas inlet 2 up to near the portion below the collision plate 4, in the central part of the cylindrical body 1. The use of the above-mentioned apparatus causes the solid-gas mixed phases in the cylindrical body 1 to be orderly isolated to the jet portion 5 ascending as a high-speed jet flow and the descending portion 6 where solid particles fall down slowly; therefore, the jet state stabilizes and the solid particles may be fluidized without causing any slagging phenomenon.
