Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the uniform foam composite from components with a different density by a method wherein foamed resin particles are filled in a molding box body and, subsequently, a polyurethane stock liquid is poured therein, foamed and cured. CONSTITUTION:The foamed resin particles (e.g.; foamed polystyrene foam particles) 3 are filled in the box body 1 of which an upper part is opened. The opened part of said box body is covered by a net 4 having meshes smaller than a diameter of the above described particles 3 and, thereafter, the polyurethane stock liquid 6 is poured through the net 4. Next, after said box body is optionally closed by a lid, said stock liquid is foamed and cured to obtain the foam composite. The foamed resin particles and the polyurethane foam are uniformly mixed mutually without generating segregation and, thereby, the uniform foam composite is obtained.
