Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently treat the waste water of factory sites or the like and lower the discarding cost of filter equipment by laying a water-collecting pipe provided with a lift pump at one end in a water-collecting hole having been excavated without timbering, and disposing filter materials and a filter material circulating and washing device as specified thereabove.

CONSTITUTION: Titled equipment is constituted by laying a water-collecting pipe 4, which is connected with a lift pump 5 at one end and is pierced with water-collecting holes 3, in a water- collecting hole 1 having been excavated in the ground without timbering, depositing filter materials 30 thereon, freely movably providing a circulating and washing device 14 for the filter materials 30 over the entire surface of the water-collecting hole 1 and providing a precipitating hole 8 having been excavated without timbering. Untreated water is charged into the hole 8 and supernatant is flowed into the hole 1 and is then taken through the water-collecting pipe 4 through the filter materials 30, for reutilize or discharge. The filter material circulating and washing device 14 is so constituted as to inject the water at a high speed from a nozzle 18 into a lift pipe 16 by operating a high-pressure pump 28 and flow air through a lead-in pipe 19 and at the same time, to draw up the filter materials 30 from a suction pipe 15, wash the filter materials 30 in a waste water separating part 22 and return the same into the hole 1, when the filtration capacity lowers.
