Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the power source device for high electric potential part having a simple constitution, a small size and a faborable load characteristic by a method wherein a leakage transformer is provided between the highest electric potential terminals of a multistep voltage doubler rectifier circuit, and compensating capacitors are provided between the secondary winding thereof and a load at the high electric potential part. CONSTITUTION:When an AC voltage is applied to the multistep voltage doubler rectifier circuit 3, respective capacitors in a push up column 1 and a smoothing column 2 are charged to generate a high voltage at the highest electric potential terminal 5. At this time, the power source voltage is generated between a terminal 4 and the terminal 5, and the voltage is applied to one or plural leakage transformers 7 through a DC blocking capacitor 10. The electric power is supplied from the secondary windings 8 of those transformers 7 to the load locating at the high electric potential part through the compensating capacitors 11. At this case, for example, by deciding the values of the capacity C of the compensating capacitor 11 and the resistance L of the leakage transformer 7 as to make series resonance, the voltage drop in the secondary winding 8 can be prevented effectively to improve the load characteristic even when the capacity of the load 9 is large.
