Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation upon foaming of a material having a low softening temperature by a method wherein a panel printed with expandable ink, not expanded yet, on the surface of both sides thereof is made upright hot air from a hot air generating section is blown against it, thereafter, the hot air at the surface of the panel is sucked immediately.
CONSTITUTION: The expandable ink 1, not expanded yet, is printed on the surface of both sides of a panel 2 of a synthetic resin extruded from so as to show a decorative pattern, thereafter, this panel 2 is transferred by a panel transferring device B as it is kept upright. Subsequently, the hot air is blown against the surface of both sides of the panel 2 to form the decorative pattern made by foaming of the expandable ink 1 on the surface of the panel 2. Since the hot air blown out of a hot air generating section 3 is sucked immediately by a hot air sucking section 4, the hot air is not spread and hence the internal temperature of the panel 2 is not risen, therefore, a pressure on the surface of the panel 2 will not be increased so much even through the hot air is being blown thereagainst.
