Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize braking energy for activating energy and reduce electric power consumption by a method wherein a rotating energy retrieving device for retrieving the rotating energy consumed upon stopping by braking is provided.
CONSTITUTION: Respective cylinder devices 30 for an activating energy supplying device 25 at an initial intermittent stopping position and a rotating energy retrieving device 31 at a last intermittent stopping position are operated concurrently to abut friction discs 29, 24 against each other. Then, the torque of a tubular mold 2 at the last intermittent stopping position is imposed to a generator in a case 26 through driving rolls 17A, 17B or the friction discs 24, 29 and the tubular mold 2 is braked by rotating the generator. On the other hand, the electric power generated in the generator is supplied to a motor at the initial intermittent stopping position and the rotation of the tubular mold 2 is activated through the friction discs 24, 29 and the driving rolls 17A, 17B.
