Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the simultaneous diagnosis of rotation as a whole about abnormality, by providing abnormal noise detection sensors at the rotating and the fixed portions of a rotary machine and comparing detection signals from both the sensors with each other. CONSTITUTION:An abnormal noise detection sensor 2 is attached to the fixed portion such as a bearing 3 of a rotary machine 1. The output signal of the sensor 2 is amplified by an amplifier. The amplified signal is changed into logic signal by a signal processing circuit 5. The logic signal is entered into an abnormal portion discrimination circuit 13. Another abnormal noise detection sensor 8 is installed on a rotary portion 7. The output signal of the sensor 8 is transmitted to a stationary side by a signal transmission unit 9 and amplified. The amplified signal is changedi into a logic signal by another signal processing circuit 11. The logic signal is enteredi into the discrimination circuit 13, which comprises an AND circuit 13a which takes the AND of the output of the processing circuit and 11 and the negation output oft the processing circuit 5, another AND circuit 13b which takes the AND of the out put of the processing circuit 11, 5 and still another AND circuit 13c which takes the AND of the negation output of the circuit 11 and the output of the circuit 5. The output of the discrimination circuit 13 is watched by a monitor 14.
