Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce and remove an NOx in the burnt gas of fuel and to decrease the amount of unburned fuel content in the burnt gas by additionally supplyig coarse particle fuel to the rear fuel flow zone where the fuel supplied from a main burner is almost completely burnt in a combustion furnace with respect to the burnt gas flow.
CONSTITUTION: 3-stage main burners 13-1W13-3 are elevationally disposed on the side wall of the furnace 18, an air duct 16 is connected to the main burners 13-1W 13-3, and finely pulverizing machines 11-1W11-3 are connected through finely pulverized coal supply tubes 12-1W12-3 thereto. Crude coal supply tubes 15-1W 15-3 are connected to the respective pulverizig machines 11-1W11-3. A denitrating burner 14 for supplying the coarse particle coal is provided at the position where the combustion of the coal is substantially completely burnt from the main burners 13-1W13-3 on the side wall 18, and communicated through a coarse particle coal supply tube 32 to a coarsely pulverizing machine 31, which is so composed as to pulverize the crude coal supplied from the supply tube 15-4 to the particle size capable of being settled. An air duct 17 is similarly connected to the denitrificating burner 14.
