Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a phenomenon of irregular points and measure the vibration of a rotary shaft accurately by making an oil spill orifice in the contact surface of a vibration detecting rod contacting with the outer-peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and thereby reducing the pressure of an oil film on the contact surface of a contactor. CONSTITUTION:In the main body 1 of a bearing is provided the bearing 3 having oiling orifices 2, while in the bearing 3 is fitted the rotary shaft 4 rotatably. At the inner end part of the vibration detecting rod 7 is screwed the contacotr 6, which contacts with the outer-peripheral surface 4a of the rotary shaft 4. Moreover, the oil spill orifice 11 is bored in the contact surface 6a of the contactor 6 along the rotational direction of the rotary shaft 4, and this oil spill orifice 11 is made to be capable of reducing the pressure of the oil film formed on the outer-peripheral surface 4a of the rotary shaft 4 when it rotates. Thus, the phenomenon of irregular points is eliminated, whereby not only the generation of vibrations can be prevented, but also the vibration of the rotary shaft can be measured accurately.
