Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation in the activity of catalysts and the occurrence of dew point corrosion based on the temp. drop of the catalysts by heating the moving catalysts with a part of high-temp. waste gas in reducing and denitrating the waste combustion gas contg. NOx with NH3 by utilizing a moving catalyst bed. CONSTITUTION:NH3 gas is added from an NH3 injector 13 to the NOx-contg. waste gas G1 exhausted from a combustion device 1 such as boiler from the way of a pipeline 16. The NH3-mixed waste gas is sent by a fan 2 into a denitration reactor 3, is subjected to reduction denitration of NOx by NH3 in the catalysts moving therein from above to below and is exhausted as a denitrated gas G2. The catalysts move in the reactor 3 from above to below and are again circulated and supplied from the lower part of the reactor 3 to the upper part by a conveyor 7. At this time, part G3 of the high-temp. waste gas is taken out before it enters the reactor 3, is passed in the conveyor 4 to heat the catalysts and is again returned into the pipeline 16. Since the catalysts are heated, their temp. drop in dead spaces 4, 5 does not occur, hence the degradation of their activity and the dew point corrosion owing to moisture condensation are prevented.
