Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable release modes to be selected as desired in a remote place by generating the 1st and 2nd modulating signals having difference time intervals, and triggering an electromagnetic release by the output obtained by delaying the detection output of the 1st signal or the detection output of the 2nd signal by a fixed time.
CONSTITUTION: In response to turning on or off of the switch SW1 of a receiver A, the 1st modulating light pulse of a short time interval or the 2nd modulating light pulse of a long time interval is generated. This modulating light is detected by a photodetector 2 and its output P2 is sent to AND gates G1, G2 via an amplifier 3 and a waveform shaping circuit, along with which the output P3 is sent successively to delay circuits 5, 6, 7. The output of the delay circuit 6 is inputted via the AND gate G1 to an OR gate G3 synchronously with the 1st modulating pulse. On the other hand, the output of the AND gate G2 is inputted via a delay circuit 8 to the gate G3 synchronously with the 2nd modulating light pulse. The output of the gate G3 operates the release in either of the selected moldes by way of a release circuit 9.
