Abstract

A system for detecting a row of signal peaks of varying amplitudes. The signals appear at the input of a differencer circuit (27) which has an analogue memory element (2) for storing the values representing a fraction of the amplitude of the last signal peak to appear acting as a reference threshold. The system contains a timing element (4) whose output is connected to the input of the reduction circuit control (3). The timing element is actuated for a given period when the threshold is exceeded. This actuation period is independent of the time interval between two peaks. The reduction element is translated into a fraction of the last peak to arrive.
