Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution with a reduction of number of component parts, by connecting the resistance which decides the gain of an amplifier to socket and then short-circuiting the area between the pins of the plug to be connected to the said resistance directly or via a resistance. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of the resistance which decides the gain of an amplifier are connected to a socket, and the area between the pins of a plug to be connected to the socket is short-circuited directly or via a resistance. For instance, both ends of the feedback resistances 5 and 6 of an operational amplifier 7 are connected to the microphone socket 3 as shown in the figure, and a short circuit is given to the area between the pins of the microphone plugs 1 and 2 to be connected to the socket 3. In case when the plug 1 is inserted into the socket 3, the gain G1 of the amplifier 7 is decided as G1=20logRA/Ri. Then the gain G2 is decided as G2=20logRB/Ri in case when the plug 2 is inserted into the socket 3 respectively.
