Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the speed fluctuations of sheet on the outlet side and prevent sheet rupture by using the sheet speed on the outlet side obtained through operation as a speed command for an outlet side coiler.
CONSTITUTION: When an emergency stop command is given by a speed command device, the opening of the rolling roll gap beins and the contacts C on. Thereupon, the output of an emergency stop command device 12 is applied to a comparator 13, and further the output of a code inverting device 14 is applied thereto. The compared result of both is outputted from the comparator. The output of the comparator 13 is applied to a comparator 15, where the comparison with a set value (ε) is accomplished and when the output value of the comparator 13 lowers to ≤set value (ε), a relay 16 is driven. Then, the contacts (a) go on, and (b) off, and the commands to a coil build-up control device 7 and a forcing device 9 are applied by the device 12. By the changing-over of the contacts, the set value from a tension setting device 8 to an automatic current control device 6 is changed. As the rolling rolls open, the outlet side speed approaches to the inlet side speed, and they are the outlet side speed = the inlet side speed when the inlet side sheet gage = outlet side sheet gage.
