Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out hydraulic pressure test with which insertional provision work of a blind cover is easy and the blind cover does not dislodge by holding its position with a structure. CONSTITUTION:A cover plate 4 is installed to one end side of a water pressure lead-in side pipe 1b. A pressurized water lead-in hose 7 and a pressure gage 8 are provided to the cover plate 4, and the hose 7 is connected to a water pressure pump. On the other hand, a blind cover 9 is insertionally provided in the bore of a terminal pipe 1. The blind cover 9 is designed to place emphasis on holding of watertightness, and is so formed that its position is held by such a structural member 13 which covers the outer side face and the periphery of the opening of the blind cover 9. The structural material 13 is preferably concrete, gravel or the like, and is removed after the completion of the hydraulic pressure test.
