Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify cutting operation and to disuse sealing of the surface of a core material by a method wherein a comparatively long, high-rigid core material and a comparatively short, easy-to-cut sealing core material are arranged alternately and are drawn.
CONSTITUTION: Comparatively long, high-rigid core material and comparatively short, easy-to-cut, sealing core material are arranged alternately and drawn. Then, the drawn material is cut off at the portion of the said comparatively short, easy-to- cut, sealing core material to get a long FRP body. To give an example, the core material 3 and a thermo setting resin impregnated reinforced fiber belt 4 is inserted into a forming die 2 having a forming passage 1 through a plurality of guide rolls 5. The core material 3 is composed of a high-rigid core material, that is, copper square pipe 6 and a same-shape sealing core material, that is, polyurethane foam rubber 7, which are both arranged alternately. An FRP formed part 8 cured in a forming die 2 is made to pass between pull rolls 9 and is cut off by a cutter 10.
