CONSTITUTION: A rotor side magnetic disc 22 is constituted by three sheets of disc plates 26W28 and ring-shaped bound members 29, 30 of nonmagnetic material, then in a face with the disc plates 26W28 at a face-to-face position to the bound members 29, 30, grooves 26a, 27a, 27b, 28a are provided, and in these grooves the bound members 29, 30 are filled to integrally bind each of the disc plates 26W28. Then the proportion of dimensions of the ring-shaped bound members 29, 30 of nonmagnetic material in the axial direction 13 to dimensions in the radial direction is set to 0.3W 0.6. In this way, miniaturization and weight lightness of an electromagnetic clutch 10 and reduction of energy of inertia are made capable to save fuel consumption when applied to a vehicle.
