Abstract
PURPOSE:To lighten a control unit and make effective use of an output shaft torque, by detecting a load current, comparing it with a set value corrected by an ambient temperature and a power source voltage and releasing a current holding circuit when the load current is above the set value. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic window glass regulating unit for a vehicle, a current holding circuit is formed to a motor 2 and in the said circuit a resistor R20 is mounted in series so that a motor current is detected as a terminal voltage of the resistor R20. The detected value is compared with a normal voltage set by resistors R2-R4, a diode D2 and a zener diode D3, and it is to be so arranged that when the detected value is above the set value the current holding circuit is released. When the window glass is fully opened or fully closed, a heavy lock current flows to release the current holding circuit, but the normal voltage is corrected by the diode D2 and the zener diode D3 to meet with changed power source voltage and ambient temperature, torque can be advantageously utilized.
