Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect the elements constituting the current detecting circuit and let the protection of load and the protection of power source operate surely by shunting the increments from where the current flowing in the current detecting circuit exceeds a certain value.
CONSTITUTION: When current flows in a DC detecting resistance 1, current flows in a light emitting diode 3 by a voltage dividing resistance 5 and a current limiting reisitance 9, causing a transistor 2 to conduct. The change in the current flowing in the detecting resistnace 1 is then drawn out as the change of the voltage output across the resitance 6. When the current flowing in the detection resistance 1 increases and the current begins to flow to a diode 10 for constant voltage, the voltage across the series circuit of the light emitting diode 3 and current limiting resistance 9 no longer increases and the current flowing in the light emitting diode 3 no longer exceeds the fixed value and therefore breaking down of the current detecting circuit will not occur and the feedback to and protection of automatic control unit become sure and safe.
