Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a superior X-ray image even if there is an area corresponding to the extreme brilliancy in the pickup visual field, by detecting the output image of an image intensifier through matrix-dividing into a plurality of partitions by means of a charge coupling element. CONSTITUTION:The output image of an image intensifier is detected in each partitions unit through matrix-dividing into a plurality of partitions by means of a charge coupling element 15, and a level detecting circuit 16-5 discriminates whether the image is within the normal brilliancy range or at the upper limit or at the lower limit. The image is held in sample holding circuits 16-9-16-11 through an integration circuit 16-8 in the normal case, or through the counters 16-6 and 16-7 at the upper and the lower limit respectively. The image is corrected through a correcting circuit 16-12, and compared with the standard value, and the signal for controlling the X-ray exposure condition is obtained. Therefore, even if there is a part having the extreme brilliancy in the pickup visual field, the image brilliancy can be almost unified, and superior X-ray image can be obtained.
