Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to radiate easily an ultrasonic wave into a variety of liquids by fitting an ultrasonic vibrator in a thin container and by driving it after sealing a liquid in the container. CONSTITUTION:Ferrite magnetostrictive vibrator 1 is wound with coil 2 and fitted in container 3, and both terminals of the coil is led out of the container. In this case, the vibrator is held by forming a narrow gap with a small number of fulcrums so that its vibration will not be impeded. Container 3 is filled with a liquid such as water 4, and then sealed. This device is dipped partially or entirely in a liquid into which an ultrasonic wave is to be radiated and a high frequency voltage is applied between both the terminals of the coil led out of container 3 by using ultrasonic oscillator 5 to drive the vibrator, radiating the ultrasonic wave into the liquid. Therefore, the radiation is easily enabled from any place and in any direction.
